Cost Propane Conversion Parts

What could these Parts cost:
1. Woodward regulator P/N N-51-2A-c or equivalent
2. Valve 12v Advanced Fuel comp. model 152 or equivalent
I got all the other stuff. The carb was about $170 for Scag.

Regulator is going to run about $80 and the switch $40. And the carb will be around $140. So the only other things are a couple hoses and wire the unit up.

Ask for Neil. Beam T60 Kits for Kawasaki Twins were about $315 including replacement carburetors or adapters. Ferrell Gas provided our cages and aluminum outdoor equipment tanks manufactured by Manchester and Worthington.

The conversion process is very straightforward and can be done in one to two hours (on Wright Standers)

Step one in getting my Tiger Cub converted to Propane. This unit has 2500 hours on it and I just finished putting a short block in August. I got the regulator and switch on order and the carb block is next to be put on.

Are you worried about a extra 75 plus lbs being behind the rear wheels? Seems like it would affect the tip over point on hills. Also what bagger are you using with the tank? You are in Texas so you may just mulch the leaves up I guess also.

It will ride light on the front and I will really have to see if I willhave to add some weights. On our Turf Tiger is kinda floats with a full tank and really makes for a nice ride. No bagger add on....we got a Walker and a Scag Cougar but hardly ever bring them out. This Tiger Cub has a full much kit on that runs year round. It really works well on leaves.

Ed, I'm going to post some questions on propane consumption and prices in the Alt Fuel your feedback would be great.

I am interested also. Especially with what the differences in initial idle, run and WOT pressure settings make.
