Billy Goat TR1104 with Pirahna Shredder

Hello everyone, I recently acquired a used TR1104, and was wondering if the new piranha shredder blade would fit on this model? I seems to have enough clearance, if anyone has done this to this model or a similar older BillyGoat without the piranha it would be greatly appreciated. Its currently winter up here in Canada so I cant really test out the shredding performance until fall, thanks again.

It could work but we never tested for it here on the TR to HTR series and coming from the factory I cannot recommend it. It's been done successfully but I know it's been done unsuccessfully as well.

Here's the main thing to look out for. Assuming there's clearance you must be VERY careful that there's no weld slag on the top on the impeller hub before installation. If there is, the Piranha could rotate causing the screw that holds the impeller on to the impeller to loosen or over-tighten (depends on what the slag does). Either way you lose your crankshaft if you don't figure it out in short order. The bottom of the Piranha MUST be completely flush with the top of the impeller hub. There's no warranty if it's not done right so you're swinging without nets.
