In showroom now

I got to see the new John Deere Z900 series in the showroom today. They had all the models lined up. None of them had the flex forks....extra option if you want them. Cons---smaller gas inlet than before, exposed turn dial mechnasim for deck height turn dial, one rear anti-scalp wheel in center of deck(had 2 before)did not like all the bolts under seat platform Pros--- larger front middle anti-scalp wheels on deck, added cutting height 5 inches before now 5.5 inches, large turn dial for cut height, new rubber mounts between seat and seat platform(absorbs shock better) the machine is said to be lighter. Overall a good machine with different plastic body panels. I still favor the look of the older 900 series mowers but some may like the new improved style and design.
