I'm glad I got on Lawnsite tonight, I was about to order the Echo tomorrow. I guess I will be ordering one of these this week instead. I already have a KM 90, but I feel it maybe a bit underpowered to run one of these. So I may pick up a 130 head also, it will be able to run the other kombi attachements I already have as well.

I need one if it will dig a water line.

I have some needs water line dug and ask me if could do with my Bocat.

Stihl recommends a 130 head, I had thought about trading my 110 for a 130,but sounds like I don't need to. My 110 head was basically given to me so it'll be hard to part with.

Per Stihl Website and the article i read in Turf magazine-the KM90, KM110, and KM130 will all have sufficient power. Like anything else though, the more power you have the better. I have the KM90 and I won't hesitate for a second to put this attachment on.

Sorry no video. Next time I use it we will try to post pics. We will be using it establishing new bed edges which will be a good example of how it works.

Checked with my Stihl dealer today and he has some coming in next week.

After talking to him about it he made it clear that they are not supposed to be used on "new" beds hence the name "re-definer".

Of course anyone that has one is going to try it on virgin soil and thats what I will do too if I get one. The temptation is too great.

Please let us know if anyone puts it to work in a new bed.
