Going to buy my first mower, should i get this one..?

Whats up everyone, I found this mower on the internet recently and here are the specs on it:

Cub Cadet 50" Zero turn, priced to sell

RZT50 Zero Turn Mower 24hp Kawasaki, 50" Deck Mower
24HP Kawasaki® V-Twin OHV engine for longer engine life, quieter operation and better ride.
Full-pressure lubrication w/spin-on oil filter. Easy access makes routine maintenance of your zero turn mower quick and easy.
Dual Hydro-Gear™ EZT transmission - no hoses between the pump and motor gives more power to operate the deck.
50" triple blade deck.
Exclusive Smart Jet™ Deck Wash System. High pressure water cleans out grass and debris build-up under the deck of your zero turn radius mower.
Electric PTO for smoother deck engagement on your zero turn mower.
Pivoting front axle provides a smoother ride and a more professional cut while allowing a more enjoyable riding experience.

It has nothing wrong with it and has only 326 hours on it and hes asking.....$1800. Should i go with this or not? Are there better mowers available for the price or should i jump on this one??

Thank you everyone!! (pic is attached)

For that price you ain't gonna get much on a ZTR if mower is original hours the deal looks good. There are a lot better mowers out there on my opinion but price is a lot higher

Thats a residential grade mower. It will not last you 2 month if lucky. You will burn through clutchs like crazy. Look for a commercial older model walk behind. You should find something in that rage.

WOW, i didnt know i would be running through clutches that fast...

but after doing some research, i have found that i dont think i would want a walk behind simply by the fact that its alot more work to operate, i feel that a zero turn or stander would be much better.

ps-so looking at any residential grade mower is a waste of time, correct??

Man, you cant start a lawn care business with that thing! It's not reliable. It's not professional. If you want to start a legit business, save some money and buy good used commercial equipment.

You're wrong. In 2008 I bought this model. I retired my WB's for the year and put 450 hrs on it. The only problem was the cheap blades and a new belt about every 100 hrs. They run the same clutch's that my Ferris' run.

So, please explain why it's unprofessional, unreliable and what does it how to do with being legit?

At the end of the 2008 season a friend of mine offered me $2000 for it and I sold it. I wanted a cheap mower because I was tired of standing up. Then I was cutting around 130 yrds ETW's.

36" Ferris WB
All Echo hand helds
<- That's how I feel at the end of the day.

It's a homeowner model! The deck is as thin as tin foil. If I hired a "legit" professional landscape company to maintain my property they better not show up with a mower that is no better than the one in my garage. Half the reason why customers hire landscape companies is one, they don't have time to maintain their property, and two, they want someone that has experience, knowledge and professional equipment. I suggest the op to save some money and buy a good used wb mower. When I started out I walked a million properties, saved my money, then bought a z-turn mower.

It looks poorly built to me...

You should get something nicer like the Cub TANK, or Scag or Lesco...

Just my $.02
