Scag Hydrogear Motor
I have a '07 Scag Wildcat with a leaking hydro motor. The motor is a HGM-15E-3138. Does anyone have a service manual or instructions on replacing the seals for this unit? I replaced the seals on the hydro pump, which was easy with this video... http://www.vimeo.com/14148039. I have not found the same information for the motor. Also, the overhaul seal kit (p/n 70525) that I purchased has more seals than what I needed for the pump. I was wondering if it included seals for the motor as well, or is there another kit for that? I emailed Hydrogear but I have not received a response from them. I need to get this unit back in operation. Any help is appreciated.

@toughluck Did you have any luck finding the seal kit for your hydro gear wheel motor, and were you able to fix it? I am having the same issue with both my wheel motors right now and am having a hard time finding the seal kit online. Motors still work fine, just a small leak, so don't want or need to spend $500 for a new one. Any help would be greatly appreciated

search on you tube hydro gear rebuild or repair.....a couple of guys posted how to do it which helps its pretty simple and most of the hydro gears are relatively the same setup.....the pain in the ass is getting it in and out of the machine and hooking back up the drive belt pulley.
