Opinions on this mower - 2012 Exmark walk behind mower.
I'm looking for a used walk behind and ran across this one on Craigslist. I don't mind spending a bit of cash if Im getting a good deal and if I had to resell I could sell close to what paid.
Guy says price is negotiotable and mower was bought locally from one of our top dealers. Here is the mower link below. Any opinions are welcome. I dont see that as being a steal. Maybe 4k would be a decent price imo. If you dont need it then I wouldnt buy it.

Killer deal would be 3k, but it's worth in my eyes about 4...at least that's retail. 3750 would be the sweet spot IMHO

wonder how many hours they put on it BEFORE they installed an hour meter on it.. because I can tell you that hour meter is not original equipment as it would NOT have been installed by the factory or a dealer in the location that it is in covering that safety/warning label...

Make darn sure he changed out the break-in oil at the recommended 8hr mark.

3k would be a steal, 3500 would be good. Just to give you an idea, I saw a demo 36" viking for 4500 with a full warranty at one of my dealers.
The hour meter could have been put on at 100 hours so I dont really value aftermarket meters very much. If he took care of it, you would never know by looking at it. My first machine was a lesco which I took really good care of. I kept it really clean and washed it weekly. It looked brand new when I sold it with 150 hours. If it wasnt for the factory meter I could have said it only had 10 hours and the buyer would never have known.
