Are my mulch calculations that off on this job???

Im figuring mulch job and cleanup on one of my commercial accnts. One section is a 150' long bed that varies in width from 10' to 4' to 7' to 9' to 3' depending on the curve of the bed and another 6 seperate beds around the property. I know its hard to tell size by pictures. But why not give it a shot. I round off my numbers and square up irregular shaped beds for ease of math. Lol ive come up with approx 1700sqft of beds or 65yds of mulch. Maybe im just over thinking this. Do the pics seem like 65yds worth of mulch????? Or maybe i just need to go to bed.

Math is effed. Even at 4" of mulch thats 21 yds

I knew i was off. I forgot to multiply by .333 . Yep its time to go to bed. Lol.

I do it like concrete. Just take the sf and divide by 80 for 4" but i usually do 100 for mulch. But yea, bed time lol

Just spend the 1.99 for the mulch topsoil app, or 7.99 for the landscape app that includes a shitload of estimating tools. Look into it. The best 10 bucks spent.

What formula do you use to figure out at amount of mulch you need. I always use an app for that.

that place is in major need of some work. the before and after pics will be very dramatic.

Even with your figure in the first post at 1700 sq I've come up with 56yds.
1700 x .33 right?

1755x .33= 579 sqft. Then divide 579/27 to get 21 cuyds
