What trailer to get?

I have a 52" ztr and I need an inexpensive trailer. I've been looking at trailers on Craigslist, and then just saw one at Lowes the other day for $649.. It's a 5x10 open trailer with lights included and a single lift gate. Thoughts? I can't get one too big bc the truck im pulling it with has 1 7/8 ball and 2000 lb max capacity

Thats a light weight trailer. At that price I assume its the one with the mesh floor. If so, it wont hold up very long. Does it have the mesh floor?

I have a Carry on 5x10 2" ball with 3300 gvwr, you can put 2400 lbs on the trailer. Wood floor, 4' mesh ramp.

Paid $1400 new last May, would like to get $1000.

Lets just say, I put my 48" Z in a 5x8 trailer for several years before I bought my enclosed....and that was ALL I could fit in that trailer.

More then size, what is the axle capacity? Look for a trailer with at least 3500 pounds axles.

just get a 16' trailer. who knows, you may grow and need a second mower. and until then, you have more room to put other stuff on it. spend the extra dollar for something you may NEED down the road.
