Anyone have MPG figures on newer Cabovers?

Those must be the new clean 5.2 liter? They are hard on fuel. I couldnt make that work for a lawn truck. If I get 9 with a gas truck/trailer, then 9 with a diesel is a definite hike is expenses.

seems like the new 4500 dodges will do 13 without 4wd

They'll do it as a pickup but put a landscape/vanscape/dump on there and it's a different animal.

well my dad got a new fuso canter 160 yesterday. It read 9.9 on the mpg read out yesterday. Today its up to 13.2. Its got less than 200 miles so I'll try to see how it does longer term. Id be happy to see 13. Anything better would be a bonus. It has a 16 ft referigerated box. This truck isnt for my business. Im still looking around but between the fuso and ram 4500.
