I think you would have to either have all or none policy. If I worked for you and you let "Dave" carry because you thought he was ok, but when I ask you say no; could be opening yourself up to different legal trouble. Just thinking worst case scenario.

The bigger question is why does your employee feel that he has to carry a gun to work?

Theft is not the reason to carry. CC only has the right to protect yourself or a innocent 3rd party. Not because you see them running off with the container of fuel.

Agreed. No different than if they worked a retail job or worked in a cubical. Boss sees you with a gun, you might as well kiss your job good by. So why treat your company policy any differently than any other company when it comes to weapons.
