?liquid cooled kawaisaki 26hp ferris 61?

im looking at a 61'' ferris on craigslist and wondering if anyone has any experience in using them? does the liquid cooled engine help? ive heard that the liquid cooled adds power any truth to this. im thinking that a 26hp engine is a little small for a 61 inch mower. considering a 26hp is what is on my walkbehinds.

They run a 61 just fine. My friend has one with almost 3000 hrs and no problems to date so that s proven to me. And I've run that machine quite a bit and the power is smooth and plenty in higher than normal conditions. What year and model? I'm guessing its around a 2005-6 3000 model.

its a 2007 3000 model its only got 700hrs on it. guys wants 5500. Seem like a good deal? Its in pretty good shape. i just want to make sure it has enough power to get through tall grass dont want to be messing with a turd. Another guy that i used to work for had a ferris zero turn and it was kind of a turd.

Unless you mulch a lot, or bag a lot, a Kawi 26 hp LC will do fine on a 61" deck.
