one thing too is the way i do it at my house is 4 application a year fiorst application i put scotts crab grass plus fert then i put scotts weed control plus fert and then scotts fert plus iron and then scotss lawn fert its does my grass wonders just basicaly use that same setup when doing fertilizeing others grass of course do soil samples to see if it is getting enough of everything

That's fine as long as you don't need to grow new grass in the springtime...

"ok yea i have been reading up alot on stuff but the only thing that i am confused about is the fertilizeing do you know any good sites or anything that will help me understand it alot better the one side that i no of is http://www.lawn-care-academy.com but i am still confused on reading that "

I don't know of any simple tutorial site off hand about fertilizer that would be helpful,,, but fertilizing lawns generally is no more complicated than putting down N(nitrogen) during the time of the year it is getting enough moisture and not too hot... Usually .5 lbs per 1000 sq. ft....
What is it that you're confused about???
