Its about money and even more than that government control. This will work its way down the line and will be a big issue for the large pickup market, mainly diesel. Before long there will be fines for individuals who alter their vehicles.

Edge was a small time player in the DPF delete programmers market. H&S probably sold 50,000 or more. The Smarty for Rams was probably used to delete more then Edge as well but the Smarty could not delete as purchased. You had to download the ME (middle east) file to allow the Smarty to be used for deleting.
If you do delete do not get rid of your OEM exhaust or be tempted to sell it for some bucks because of the valuable metals inside. Keep it in a safe place just in case. My system is collecting dust in my garage.

You can still buy EFI Live programmer for duramax. And delete the dfp on '10 and older.
