Weed indenification
Weeds are in a relatively shady wet spot with heavy clay soil and they are everywhere! probably about 1000sq ft of them. I believe one is mouse-ear chickweed but is the other dandelion? The leaves are similar but I've never seen them that color before. No herbicides were used in area.

I would look at it as a variety of prickly lettuce, but it sure has gotten thick... I bet it connects by rhizomes...

Good call, Axe. And my vote goes to mouse ear chick, for second weed.
http://www.msuturfweeds.net/details/..._chickweed_27/ lettuce is right for first weed. http://www.ppws.vt.edu/scott/weed_id/lacse.htm |

I'll go out and see if there's a milky sap in the leaves. Also, there aren't hairs on the chickweed so I guess it's just common chickweed, not mouse ear? Ill go get some better picks.
