exmark navigator hopper full alert

Has anyone else's speaker that alerts u when the hoppers full stopped working?

Is it the speaker or is it the Peice in the hopper? We have pulled the wire loose when dumping before. Took it apart twisted wires back together tape and put back together. Wiles again.
