Redmax extended reach articulating hedge trimmer.
I'm considering buying an extended reach articulating hedge trimmer. As I already have redmax trimmers and an edger, I was inquiring about an attachment to utilize an existing underused edger power head. Guy at the local dealer says he has a 4cycle redmax articulating hedge trimmer for $299. I've never seen or heard of any redmax 4 cycle stuff. He says it looks just like the regular 2-stroke redmax stuff. Any thoughts? Anything else I should consider?

I think that guy was talking about JUST the attachment for $299.
Not the whole machine. Last edited by herler; 02-17-2013 at 12:20 AM. |

That must be some pretty old stock because Redmax has not built a 4 stroke in several years.

They are NOS. and whole machines. He has 4. I'd expect to pay $299 without the engine, so if the engine is decent enough for hedge trimming its a win, win. Ill try one out then might go get em all.
