Q Books Desktop to Clip itc on MAC

Has anyone synced their Q Books desktop to Clip Itc for Mac's. I can download the Clip sync program but can not open it. The Mac ask for me to select a program to open the sync with? After a few hrs of trying I just entered a name and address to see how Clip worked. It will fit what I do but I do not want to enter all my customer by hand.

Are you trying to sync with Quickbooks for Mac, or PC? It only works for the PC version. I just bought a PC version for my Mac for just that reason. Haven't installed it yet though.

Yes, or I guess you could just use bootcamp, but that's a pain if you want to switch between the two. I just installed parallels because I was sick of rebooting to get to my PC programs.

With Clipitc, I think it will also sync with Quickbooks online, so that might to be something to look into. Not sure of the price difference from the PC version.

Q Books online is twice what the desktop cost is.
How much did you pay for Parallels?

You will have to install windows to run any PC programs. I went with windows 7 after hearing all the complaints about windows 8. You can buy parallels and windows bundled. I was already running windows through bootcamp, so I just bought the base parallels software to link the two.

If my reading on this is wright, I will have to also buy Q Books for windows and have everything operate on the windows side not the Mac.
