Gravel question

I'm ready to install my base layer for a patio. I seem to be getting conflicting info on the size of gravel to use for the baselayer. Should I use #8910, #411, or a different size?

Many thanks.

Use the 411

Description of the #411 Limestone Gravel, ton

This compactable limestone gravel is one of our most popular. It is most commonly used during the construction of patios, walkways, and walls. The size of the gravel is dust to ¾” and is tan to grey in color. When compacted correctly, material depth is reduced by 25%. For example, 4" layer of material will be 3" deep after being compacted. The project calculator will provide the amount you need based on the material being compacted. Not sure how much mulch you need? Please use our project calculator to help you figure it out or call our store for help.

If you prefer, you can put your bulk products in Super Sacks for your convenience!
