z71 package is overpriced Bilstein shocks and different skidplates. A gimmick to sell trucks really. It doesn't sit any higher or have any more horse power. I have had a z71 and presently have a regular 4x4. my current truck is the best truck I have ever owned.

A z71 package can also be had on a 2wd, so be sure you have 4x4 with the z71. I almost bought one back in 2007, it was a 2wd z71. Needles to say I never went back to the dealer upon that discovery
