How on earth did they know you were packing heat? And I hear you on the other part. I thought Glock 26, and 27 would be like "his and hers". She prefers the 27 and shoots better with it then the 9mm.

Have her try the Sig P238.
If she has small hands she'll probably like it.

Not to mention FBI, treasury, secret service , many fish and game depts. and quite a few local pd's.

the fnp/fnx/fns was made specificially for them. just isn't ergonomic enough for worry

I too live in a state where open carry is legal.
No permit required carry is legal as well.
And I have my state's permit that allows reciprocity with many other states.

In today's current thought process I don't feel its the best idea to open carry out in public.
Sure while hunting or on your own property or a shooting event......... no one will think a thing of it.
But out in public will cause folks (right or wrong) to look at you with suspicion.

Do yourself a favor and conceal it, it'll be easier in the long run.
