7X16 Enclosed Trailer Options

I'm in the market for a bigger enclosed trailer as my Pace American 6x12 is getting too small with shelving in the front, a large walkbehind and a ZTR, Stihl Trimmer and Blower, other misc tools and air tank. I've been looking at a 7X16(won't be expanding much more beyond current setup) HandH trailer and exploring options that are useful on them. From what I've gathered using mine and wishing it had a few more options, this is what I'd like my new one to have....(ramp door of course)

- Rear Drop down dock legs
- Bull dog 2 5/16" coupler
- 110v Wall outlet
- Rear Loading Lights
- D Rings (for occasional use)
- Spare Wheel & Tire
- 12v 400amp Deep Cycle battery with box

Any other things that anyone can think of? Or any things to think about?

I would recommend 8' or 8.5' wide if you plan on hanging trimmers and blowers on the walls. trimmer and blower racks i recommend green touch xtreme series. just got mine in havent put them in yet but they are defiantly well built. back to the trailer... i wish i mine had 5200lb axles. your going to want a front shelf, extended tongue, roof vents, wall vents, extra interior lights my 20' came with 2 tiny lights can barely see. before putting anything in i would put a coating on the floor. one thing i have seen some people talking about is a small door/window about the middle of the trailer to pass the gas hose through so you dont have to unload every time you want to fill up. some guys like the smooth exterior (no screws) color lighter colors will show water marks after a while, dark colors will get hotter. i prefer etrac over d rings personal preference. the list is endless you just gotta figure out where to draw the line.

Can you even get a 8 or 8.5x16 trailer just wondering I don't think i'ive ever seen one. Even a custom made one.

Extended tongue if you're going to tow it with a dump truck.

Homesteader makes 8 and 8.5 wide trailers. i think their Hercules line is used for landscaping/lawncare.

We have a 8.5' wide Pace.

Forget blower racks, we use hooks from Home Depot.

I agree hooks from HD will work just fine....i like the idea of the xtreme racks because they can lock your equipment up. I used to keep all my hand helds in the bed of the truck with a cable going through them and a pad lock. the racks provide a more convinent way to secure your equipment. I spent the money on the racks for security. its a terrible feeling coming around from the back of a house and find your $500 blower gone.
