We had a driver do the same thing about a year and a half ago. He drove about a mile with the truck bed up. He ended up running into an overhead railroad track and ripped the bed clean off. Luckily no one was behind him. Needless to say he is not employed with us anymore.

It was a delivery truck. I think it was a Ford F800 so decent size truck

Yea its pretty easy to know when your box is up. And you raise the box, dump, and lower the box, simple, but there are always a few stories a year.
