Really digging the one you made for the flatbed! Did you do it yourself or have a fab company make them? What does it cost to make something like that? How heavy are the sides?

They are about the same weight as the hemlock boards I took off, probably 40 lbs on the chevy and 60 on the dodge. I did as much as I could. I bought the materials at the metal supply. Cut the 3/16 sheets and supports to size. Had a trailer fab shop press brake the bends and had another fabrication place weld it all. Like I said it's been a sloooow ongoing winter project and at this point I'm not sure exactly what I have into everything, about $1500 + for both trucks I think. The flatbed has a 5 ton hoist under it as well. Dumps quite a bit more than the truck could ever carry.

There aren't any to plow around here right now.

Lol. Well I thought maybe you shook em off the trees so you could use it. We've been doing leaves at places that never got a fall cleanup.

Those are nice sides, should last longer than the trucks and I can see many years of future service out of them.
