I love the big turf tiger. At some point try to get an accurate gallons per hour usage on both of those mowers. I am looking at getting a turf tiger, and am considering a diesel maybe. Just wondering how fuel efficient they are.

How do you like the 52"? That's what I will probably end up getting. I just never had a efi motor or a kohler for that matter

The 61" V Ride is @ 38.7 hours and as of the last fill-up was running 1.14 GPH. The 72" TT is @ 23.4 hours and currently running 0.78 GPH. The fuel economy of the V improved considerably once I had reached around 15 hours. The TT hasn't really changed. Terrain here is rolling hillside with a few moderately steep grades and two steep pond dams. The TT hugs the ground securely and climbs without any hesitation or drop in speed. Curious to see how it does in the spring when several areas rarely dry out.

Thanks for the info that's impressive on that turf tiger. Especially with a 72" deck. I would probably be getting a 61". I think I am sold on the diesel, in 1000 hours you would save the difference in cost of an efi motor

That's actually pretty awesome. I felt like it would be more hours than that. How much is the diesel running for now?
