Awkward moment

Working on the field can always be a pain when not having easy access to a toilet. Asking the homeowner at times can be embarrassing too especially when Urinating is so easy to go outside

I think we have all done the deed outside of both circumstances.

A few days ago I went to bid out a system. The homeowner went inside for a bit and my morning coffee hit me. I found a corner on the side of the house and went

The house was old and the plumbing was unique

After a few min I asked the homeowner to show me his utility room so I can view the plumbing setup. The utility room was downstairs in his basement. As he turned on the lights we noticed a small puddle in the corner . Confused as it hadn't rained in a long time and there was no plumbing nearby.

The homeowner:
" what is it? It's as if it's running down the crack of the wall"

( touches it)
" it's warm!"
( smells it)

"It smells like urine!"

At this point I had to stop him and admit I just urinated outside . I tried to immediately joke it off that I found a crack in his foundation. He shrugged it off but was extremely awkward none the less.

I've never been caught urinating, at least no one approaching me yelling at me for doing it

Lol, had a new tech train with me so I made sure I drained the pee bottle and stuffed it in the bottom of the trash bucket. Had him replace a couple heads and saw him bailing out the hole with it. "Uh, why don't you use the hand pump? I wouldn't mess with that bottle, or any bottle back here."
