Well crap

After looking at Hustler,Scag,Ferris and Grasshopper i thought i was convinced on a Grasshopper 329B,then he asked if i wanted to try a Gravely 460,35 hp Kawasaki.Gotta say i was pretty impressed, didnt get to mow alot since their wasnt alot of grass, but was impressed with what it did cut and the suspension seat was great.Any thoughts from you pros?

Demo the 460 with the new 33 hp EFI. I just bought a 472 and waited a week for the EFI to come in over the Kawasaki which was available. Nothing against the Kawasaki. But the fuel savings are definately worth it to me and there's no short of power I couldn't imagine the power on a 60" Ive tried to clog the 72" just to see what it would take to do it and it took waste high rye grass to slow it down.

Been hearing A LOT of issues with that suspension seat…. id stay away.

If you want a gravely get one without the gucci seat.

Every hear anyone badmouth grasshopper mid mounts? No.
Why? because they don't have anything "special" to go wrong.

Basic. Proven. So mediocre it's fool proof.

I'd get the GH

Gravely. Its everything you want, and then some. (I came from the great exmark, and will never go back).

Simple to work on.

Cuts in all conditions. From 3 inches to 3 ft.

260 w. 27hp. And it "can" be used as a bushhog (from experience).

460 w. 35hp would be overkill, in a good way, in my opinion. 99% of my lawns are eow. And the 27hp 260 just rolls.
