Spindle spacing?

I have a 2015 Ferris 3200 with the 72" iCD deck. I picked up a piece of hedge a while back, snapped the belt, etc. We replaced the belt and the blade was rubbing the backside of the deck on the trim side. So we loosened the spindle mounting bolts, pried the spindle forward, and tightened the bolts. Problem fixed..........BUT ever since that incident I get occasional grass trails (usually the dry grass, but sometimes any grass) that follows between where the center blade and discharge blade meet. Is there any specifications on spindle spacing to make it not do this? I don't want to move a spindle and have the blades collide, but I do not like it dropping "squirrel tail" clumps between the blades. This is the only thing I can come up with as to why it is doing this because our other 3200 does not do this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
