Anyone have an idea about this walk behind

I came across this walk behind on craigslist. Says it is a cub cadet 48 inch hydro walk behind with a 16hp kawasaki engine. Only info I can find on cub hydro walk behinds are the ones that are basically rebadged lescos.

Go take her for a spin. Looks lightly used in the pics.
$1695 is a pretty good asking price for a Hydro. Negotiate.

Not a Kawasaki , that's a Briggs and Stration Vanguard. Stamped deck is cheap.

I've never saw a cub walk behind quite like that one... That is a Briggs vanguard on it which I personally would rather have than any other engine. How many hours are on it. It looks to either be repainted or very well taken care of

Thanks for the replies. I thought it looked like a Briggs. I'm going to go take a look at it this week. Doesn't say hours but I will look it over well while I'm there. It does look pretty well taken care of.

That's a hell of a pull cord handle. I wouldn't mind that lol.

My very first commercial mower was a cub cadet hydro. The mower ran good and cut pretty decent. It was not an independent hydro but the instant forward and reverse was nice. that briggs is a little underpowered but will get the job done. Offer 1200 and see if they will let it go.
