I bought 3 exmark 30's on Friday. I used one all day Sunday. Here is what I found: Cuts great, cuts leaves up well, It did bog in some thick leaves and had to slow down, Very easy to turn, it bagged really well, I wish the bag was larger. It was real easy to dump. It was easy to switch from mulching to bagging. It discharged well and was easy to switch to. Going up and down real steep hills it did get away from me a bit. I cut a lawn 15,000 sq ft. in 20 minutes. It goes really fast. Very few maintenace issues, with very little to go wrong. Easy for EMPLOYEE's to learn and operate. This means you can take a good guy that may not be a lawn expert and teach him in ten minutes how to operate it. Can't do that with walkbehinds. The lawns were very wet and I did not have any rutting. I like when you turn, the wheels continue moving not hurting the grass. Even when your good with a walkbehind or rider you still divot the grass in some area's. I'am very impressed with the Emark 30, so far I think it's a very good mower. We plan on running a crew for lawns 18,00 square feet and down. So Far I think they came out with a winner. I will keep updating my opinions on this machine.

Really loving this mower. My second crew got their first day with it. They loved it. Great cut and tracks straighter than the toro 21 commercial's. Leaves some nice stripes. Can't figure out why both my mower's making a knocking noise with the mulch plug in. Anyone notice that?

Mine does that. I identified it as the left pully/spring knocking from the belt bouncing. Pull out the plug and it diminishes, but I think the extra stress of mulching gets the belt bouncing, thus making the noise. Annoying but we will see if things start breaking. Maybe Toro or Exmark will chime in and give us a way to keep this from happening.

I have talked to several exmark owners and toro owners and I am thinking it is the way the controls are set up. Will have to do some more investigating.

I'm confused! Which was making the knocking noises? The Toro or the Exmark?
