Solid or flex shaft for trimmer?
I picked up a barely used Stihl FC110 edger the other day, and plan to use it primarilly as a trimmer since I have no use for another edger at the moment. It will be used with a standard trimmer head, and occationally with a cultivator and pole saw head. I have both the solid shaft that the edger came with, and a flex shaft from an older trimmer that I have. My question is which one is best for my intended uses or does it really matter.

Solid or flex shaft for trimmer?
Solid shaft is heavier but flex shat is only reccomended for line use. I have a flex shat stihl for trimming and a 95 with solid shaft for edging and use with blades.

Thanks for the replies. I will stick with the solid shaft since I will be using it for more than just trimming.
