Selling my 2006 permagreen ultra se fertilizer spreader / sprayer. New spray tank 2 seasons ago, new spray pump last spring ( I didn't know to winterize it

) Good tires. Runs good. Will need new battery. New spreader gearbox in 2011 ($300) and new spray nozzles last spring. New drive belt.The bad- the studs that hold the alternator broke off. they are part of the block and you cant' get a replacement engine anymore. It runs fine, just cant charge the battery. It does come with new flywheel and alternator, so if you have old engine block, you could use that and be good to roll. Only shows 265hrs, but the hour meter doesn't work. Located in Southern IL 2hrs from st Louis and Evansville.

is it missing a stainless steel cover piece under the spinner?

its not stainless, its plastic. And i have the covers for it.

I had one just like it--sold 4 years ago. Really it isn't such a hard job to install a motorscooter or small deep cycle wheel chair battery. Just build a basket for it where the old battery used to sit. Batt costs between $25 and $50. Just put a charger on it at night. And you don't really need the battery--as long as you are spreading fertilizer --and don't need to spray.
I see the voltage regulator is missing. It doesn't really have a generator; it charges using magnets on the flywheel...well that is how it started out. I loved mine. Put about 1000 hours on it.
Retired now--don't need one.

Good points.. You can spray all day on a charge. The batterys they came with are no account anyway. I found them at battery specialists a lot cheaper, and I used it because that was oem.
