Always have cover over your machines. Four less tires on the road. Very hot in the summer. Usually only sits three. Wall room for hanging trimmers blowers etc.

Going trailerless?

A LOT easier to park and maneuver whether working or operating/parking before/after work. Can't think of one vehicle that gets better MPG's towing than not towing.

Trailers have certain clear advantages if your business requires them.

We've added two super lawn truck our fleet. One is a crew cab one seats 3. There really is no better way to do it nowadays- we enjoyed both of them.

I switched 3 years ago and would never go back to a truck/trailer. With the door open they are not hot in summer and are a great place to wait out rain. Have thought about stringing a hammock in there. You learn to watch for low tree branches and wires. Generally have more room than a trailer. Mine has a tuck away lift and I only use ramps for loading the tractor. Mower and everything else goes in with the lift. Wonderful for loading bags of grass or leaves. With no ramp in the way can load stone, sod or other pallets with a fork lift.

Ive been running a 18' Chevy cutaway box since I started 7 years ago. I absolutely love it.

The only disadvantage is you cant load bark or sod easily. Also its pretty much a dedicated vehicle.

That's all we run and won't go back to a trailer for anything. Looks professional too!

Thanks for the input. I have been running enclosed trailers and thinking this will be more efficient.

I have been looking into them. What if you have to bag the clippings? Do you store them in bags or barrels on the truck?
