Lawn acre pricing, PLEASE HELP !!!! Chicago Illinois

I am going to look at my first large property tomorrow and I need a little help pricing. i have searched the forum and have not found too much as far as pricing in my area. I am looking at a 3 acre property that is wide open no fences. I will be cutting with a 48" zero turn anyone have any idea what a base price would be or how long this might take assuming it is an easy flat open cut? Please help!! Thanks

Hard to say without knowin all the details but around me that would be between $120-$180. A lot of factors to take into account. Travel time, fuel, overhead, edging, blowing, etc.

Pricing

Thanks for your input!! I know there are a large number of variables I was just curious if others in my area would share, that way I could take an average. From what I gathered from other local companies base price is $70/acre and then increased based on difficulty. I just wanted to double check and make sure it was reasonable before I offer a price.

You want the job?

No?
Price it anywhere your little heart desires, $60 an acre is a very good starting point.

But if you answered yes to wanting the work?
Price as follows:
1 acre $50 (and $45 if you really need it)
2 acres $85 ($80 is rock bottom)
3 acres $120 (No less than $105)
4 acres $140 ($125 minimum)
Every additional acre +$20

I would highly advise not to go lower, and I might further suggest not exceeding 10 acres with a Z.
