t-3000 hypro pump leaks

My t-3000 pump leaks when running, seems to be leaking from the housing. I'm going to take it apart this weekend. The thing pumps great so i don't think its the diaprams or could it be? Should I order a rebuild kit as I have a set of diaphrams but nothing else.

I would just buy the new pump before I would stick any money into the old one. Call turfco and tell them it leaks and I think they'll help you out.

Very minimal hours, I would say around 100 hrs. We only use it on a few properties. we only do apps for a few customers, not a big part of our business. Seems like we have had lots of problems with so few.hrs on this machine. I could not imagine using this machine 5 days a week.

Sorry to hear your problems, don't let Larry hear this according to him he has never had one single problem with his T's. You do know he was on the original A-Team don'tsh know.

If yours us one of the first ones they have come out with a slew of updates. I use mine 5 to 6 days a week with few problems. Larry spoke openly about the pump problems he had. In 4 years of use I have probably lost less than 3 days of production because of breakdowns.

Not using a piece of equipment very often such as a spread and spray machine is almost as bad as using it all of the time...sometimes worse.

Call Turfco and just tell them. We have 170 hours on ours and have had a pump replaced, spray wand hose disintegrate, and just this month had the bearings in the front right wheel completely seize up and shred (VERY poor design on this). With this last issue the machine was 4 months out of warranty and after a bit of bitching they sent me 2 sets of wheel bearings. At 90 hours they will fix this for you.

You can buy those wheel bearings locally. I had the same problem but it was my fault because I didn't grease them they needed. Grease them regularly and you will have no issues.
