Scotts stainless steel professional spreader

http://www.lawnsite.com/album.php?al...pictureid=1808

Scotts stainless steel frame, fiberglass 80 pound hopper, Model R8-A, now sold by Andersons.
Picture shows Lesco clear hopper cover, included. Plastic screen basket.
Has edge guard. Has helical cone--the best pattern adjustment system.
The black tape on the frame in the photo is to prevent the stainless steel from scratching the white truck bed.
Best on the market. Includes digital speedometer.
I retired, want to sell it.

Priced at $125.00.
Located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Pm me for more details and pics.

I might be interested. What level of use has it seen? What kind of maintenance have you done to it? Thanks,

Stainless steel spreader was used for 3 rounds per year for about 20 years. Impeller, gears, and wheel bearings were replaced every two years. A few small non-stainless steel parts were painted every year. New tires about a year ago.

In March 2013, I lubricated the gears and weels with grease, oiled the remaining moving parts and removed the black tape. I added 6 photos of the for sale spreader in my previous album, "2009". The stainless steel sheet hanging down on the right side is the edge deflector which is controlled by a control rod activated by a handle lever. Click my name to see the photos.
I removed digital bicycle spedometer as the tiny watch battery was dead. Speedometer available free if you want it.
Send me your email in a Private Message, and I can send you a 5 second video of the spreader in action.
Spreader has two extra handles on the left side which makes it easy to load onto a truck.
