Electrical connection to Existing System??

It's not complicated at all,

The only thing that you have to worry about is wire size and length. and making the right connections at the last valve, and are there enough wires to expand, and is the controller big enough, and few other things maybe?

Hopefully they are trying to scare you out of it. I've seen too many "landscapers" get in to it and screw it up. Lasts about a year or two and they get out of it.
