Find an old 4stroke 6x6 Polaris or Honda 4x4. Way more productive for sidewalk crews vs the two jd riders we have now.Plus fun..lol.
I was in owners ear all this past snow season, then sent him a txt vid of my dad doing his, and half the blocks driveways up north....the gears are turning now..lol. Then while your cutting this summer, put the feelers out for a plowtruck.

Howdy boys,

I see this was started a month ago.

Well I was walking the dogs a few minutes ago and a snow squall came through.

If the rain would ever stop...

How has the monsoon affected your call and estimate volume?

I wish it were just rain here. We got 5 inches of snow last night. It has slowed things down so much my phone hasn't wrang hardly at all. Even repeat customers aren't interested in talking about spring clean ups hardly yet. After today we're probably still 2 weeks from doing spring clean ups cause it will be so wet. And then I'm sure mowing won't be far behind that. Probably going to have a hard time getting all the spring clean ups in before mowing starts.

I started this thread 6 weeks ago thinking that I would be mowing soon and that winter was dragging on... Still staring at snow on the ground out the window.

Well I'm just glad I'm a part-timer for now. If my bills depended on this, I would be screwed! This is starting to feel like 2009; where we only had like a week of 80+ degree days

Everything depends on Ring Lawn Care income, I pay all over head and household bills. We are sitting better than ever $$$ wise. I suppose every operation is different.

We are still owed from several clients and we have not even invoiced April snow yet.

If you were a FULL-TIMER, what would you do to make sure your bills are paid?
