2003 Pulser

My progressive electronce 2003 Pulser wont keep a charge. In years past we would send them to Progressive but this has been 5-6 years since we sent something and in that time frame unless Im mistaken GreenLee bought them out. I did take the locator apart and the battery has some corrosion on it and this must likely is the cause. For good measures I would like to send it in and get it all checked out. Any help is apperciated.

Try replacing the battery. They aren't meant to last forever, 2 maybe 3 years. They don't cost that much $15-20.

If you decide to send it in call greenlee and ask for Veronica Parks. She is the go to person IMHO.

Rechargeable batteries are sensitive to heat and tool boxes can get way hot in the summertime.

Don't overcharge them, i bought a timer so i can charge my pro-800 for a set time and forget it.

I have Veronica's direct contact info if you need to send it in.

Dunno? She is sweet as candy and handy as a shirt pocket though.

In the early 2000's she pulled a rabbit from a hat when i was in a bind and nobody else could help me and i have never forgotten it. Think i sent her flowers to say thanks.

Far as i am concerned she is greenlee's finest asset.

Replace the rechargeable battery. I've done it on several 2003 units and it's very easy.
