Pricing a tree removal job

I am new to the tree removal biz and I have a customer that wants a 20 ft pine cut down. It sounds like he had the top cut off previously so it was originally bigger than a 20 ft tree thus it is much larger in diameter. What should I charge? He's also talking about having it split into firewood for him (I don't know why he wants pine for firewood). How much extra for that?

Whats your minimum charge for a tree job? Shouldnt take long to remove and the splitting should go pretty fast for 20' of pine even if using a maul. Probably going to be burned in an outdoor firepit. I'd be looking at less then an hour myself for this job but depends on what equipment you've got.

Factors Involved In Tree Removal Price

We outlined the factors involved in pricing our customers on our website for absolute clarity.

Basically it comes down to the following factors, and I'd be hesitant to do provide a quote before seeing the property: size, location, accessibility, utility lines (getting power company involved?), equipment needed, experience required, technical aspects, rigging, crane.
