Rapco Carbide Chain

I bought this carbide chain from Rapco some time ago for stump work - have never been able to get it to cut worth anything. Put it on a bigger saw (066 Stihl, 20" bar), still no success. Are these chains junk or is there something I need to do that I'm not?

These chains are not going to cut as a normall chain does. You can expect to work at it. Many of these chains are designed for the fire service and venting of residential roofs. They do really well with 1/2 plywood and a set of shingles. If you put them into cutting full size wood, they tend to heat up very easy. I dont think its you, its probably the chain.
