Can you believe this employee!

Hello guys, I am still in shock, so excuse the rant. I had a super worker, the guy could trim faster and better than two men put together. He has been giving my manager problems not listening to him and doing things his own way. Though the manager told me about it I only verbally warned the man for each incident, then he was good and listened for a couple months before going off again. Well yesterday while spot checking them my manager is standing there not doing anything, and hustler super Z is gone. I immediately started questioning the manager why he wasn't working and where is the mower? The problem employee told him he was going to buy lunch and was going to do so on the super z. The manager told him he cant and he said yes I can I will deal with Clayton(that's me!), if he finds out. I then saw him coming and checked out if this story was true and the guy said;" Its no big deal just went to get lunch." I fired him on the spot and lost a super worker but cant tolerate that. Can you believe that attitude, CRAZY.

Sounds like he might have been watching our president on the TV, and thought he could get away with doing crap like that to you since that was prolly the way all Americans are. You did the right thing in firing him.

^^ love that video lol. Crazy, I have a pretty high limit for things but that would definitely be pushing it, insubordination only leads to one place.

That was hilarious and at the same time sad to see that people don't respect there employer's nor their equipment. Thanks for shedding some humor on the situation. I am still upset that it had to be him the most physically productive employee I had.

I love the levity this morning!
"I know my Rights"
"Maybe I will maybe I won't"

I managed people for over 30 years, being solo is like therapy for me. Some guys go fishing, I cut grass.
