TK Lawn Care & Landscaping 2013

First landscape job of the year tomorrow. 35 yards of black mulch and a little Delaware River Rock. Truck and trailer are ready to go. I will post some shots of the job done later on this weekend.

Well my nice new yellow gloves didn't stay new very long. They are Stihl gloves and very comfortable. Anyone else out there have a certain kind of glove they like?

I like it. Why rock here and there? Also we use edging around here, usually bullet edgers but some of those curves and straight runs look "uneven" to me. Do you re edge them or was this existing border you had to work with.

I kind of had to work with what he had. There is stone in random places where his drain spouts come out. I added the stone in the front to connect 2 areas of stone to help make it look a little better as well as mulch was washing away there too. As far as the edging, frozen ground and lots of roots made it rather difficult to do by hand. I would like to get an edger this year though. Also along the edges his grass is high in spots and others it is just dirt from him making tight corners around them so I think that is making some of the pictures look worse than they really are. Even myself am not 100% pleased with them, but the customer didn't even expect me to edge in the first place, so he was pleased with what I did.
