car insurance

just got a taste of my own medicine, it sucks.

Geico is quoting half rate on an exact replica of my current progressive policy.

Money or Loyalty?

I have numerous policys with that oldschool progressive agent.

Its when i consider my customers and they're other cheaper options that seem to make this a difficult decision?

where is my iron gut when i need it?

I'm amazed that either of those companies write policies for commercially used vehicles!

Value. Keyword.

Exact same coverage, cheaper price. Go with cheaper price. There is no VALUE in paying more.

Mowing is no different. If 2 guys are equally dependable, do an equally good job. No VALUE in paying more.

If one doesnt show up or does a lousy job, and the more expensive guy is better, there is VALUE paying more.

There needs to be a reason to be loyal. Not just for the sake of it.

My company insurance agent has gone above and beyond excellent service, has helped me, has gotten me though jams, and when i need something, i get it . Shes local and just awesome. I would not switch insurance agents if it saved me $10,000 a year. But i have those reasons to be loyal to her.

Progressives does. They have for me.

Forget loyalty. Go for deal that saves you the $. Every yr I get my independent insur agent to check in see who has best commercial deal. Might be Progressive or GMAC. Currently have GMAC.
