How to keep dry?

Have been adjusting spray heads for last three days and I'm soaked. Changing "waterproof" boots midday helps. Is there a good waterproof, breathable, lightweight pant for the colder months ?
Wondering what everyone does to try and keep somewhat dry (if thats possible !?!)

We have gortex pants and jackets that fit over our normal work clothes for rain storms and also sprinkler checks/adjustments. Paired with waterproof boots we stay dry. I bought the gortex on closeout at cabelas.

I place a can over the sparyheads while I'm working on the one that is messed up. Having a pig tails helps too.
