You should check out mahindra. The price on them is very competitiive, the capabilities are very good. I have the max28 xl and the 54 inch bucket can lift 1600 pounds easily. Its very easy to use. The body is made out of metal not fiberglass like the small jd's. If I were you id atleast take a look at them.

the maintenance isnt too bad, mine his hydrostatic so I always check the oil level every day which is simple to do as the dipstick is right below the seat. Changing the engine oil isnt hard because the sides of the hood come off easily. overall its not bad for maintenance and id assume that most tractor brands nowadays try to make it as simple as they can to maintenance the machine

The tractor with bucket cost 15,000 plus tax. Since mine is hydrostatic instead of shuttle shift-that was a 1500 dollar add on. so shuttle shift is around 13500. From my experience dealer support has been awesome. It is a 28 horse mitsubishi diesel btw with 4x4 and rear differential lock

As much as I would love to have that 5010 it is way out of my price range, but thank you for the input seems like lots of people love the mahindras
