Naturally it depends on how thick it is how many trees etc.

What they charge and what I charge is different. 3500 includes rough grading.

You're shooting yourself in the foot for under $100 an hour no latter how many acres you can clear in an hour.

Clearing and bush hogging are two totally different things. We have a 15' that is capable of up to 3" material. Our shredder will handle up to 14 " but is obviously not as fast. We are double the 100 an hour for just the bush hog and more than triple for the shredder. You see lots of guys running around with 6' mowers but they are just not productive on any larger area.

Exactly. Every person with a 1970s tractor and cutter is trying to do bushhogging for chump change. Ive got an underbrush job coming up. Approx 25/acres. I cant use anything larger than my 6' heavy duty cutter(will handle up to 3") due to fitting between trees etc. lets just say im in line with Marek, actually a lil more per acre.

Around here things are so competitive that guys are mowing 2 acres ( grass ) for 35.00 3 acres 50.00 5 acres for 65 - 75 . Things are bad here as every one with a pick up is mowing. That's why we are getting farther and farther away from it. They can afford used walk behinds and Lazers but they cant come up with the 100k plus it takes to have a more specialized machine

I think I need something like that.

Wonder how much that runs, would definitely do in between stuff that a brush hog can't handle but doesn't require one of those massive brush cutters. HydroAx or whatever they are.

Fun times.

Right size tractor too, the one in the vid is a little small for what I would use it on. Either 100 or 125 HP.
