Have you used a paver like that before or was this a trial idea? Looks great.

Never used a paver before, but in theory we thought it would work great. Even the Engineer from the city had there doubts, and in the end it turned out fantastic . I wouldnt use it for bulking out base material but for the top coat of stone dust it worked perfect. I am actively looking to do a few of these type jobs next year, and have already been contacted about providing pricing for some. I must say that we had the exact machines that we needed to make the job run smooth. Only minor thing is that the c175 ctl was a little small but it still did the job we asked with no issues.

In regards to the E85 bobcat, the more we used it the more i liked it. Only issue i really have is that the joysticks feel a bit cheap, and that it isnt plumbed with dual lines to run the twist bucket and thumb at the same time. Have a meeting set up with salesman over the next few days to see if we can add the additional plumbing , and to see whos truck will be taking it home from this job.

Nice work. I'm scrounging to pick up some winter work. Temps have been in the mid 50s for a week now and the phone has stopped ringing. Plus it's been raining here for 3days.

I hear you on the weather part. I literally finished that trail job and within a few hours the temperature plummeted freezing the ground and dumping 6 inches of snow. I would of had to wait to April to go back and finish it. Demo was about an hour away from the trail so they didnt get much snow but still freezing. Unfortunately my phone won't stop ringing , and I am supposed to be moved in to the new house on Saturday and haven't had any spare time to pack or move anything. Gonna be a great next few days!

Nice work with the paver. Seen it done a couple times for the same application and there is no better way to go.
