A little stronger than 3 way

Ive been using 3 way for a couple of years and it seems to work good but wanting to go a step stronger. What do you suggest that wont break the bank. Im trying to switch from the regular 2,4d My supplier has recommended some others but cost is double. I have a couple of properties with break thru and I want to wipe out all the crap breaking thru. All the apps were on time Im just thinking the wet spring we are having is causing me some problems. Thanks

maybe try 3way ESTER II for earlier apps in cooler weather ,if ur having breakthru in April. Ester II works great if the temp is less than 65 on dormant bermuda /zoysia. watch temp range or u could burn the grass.

i like speedzone, but its expensive. I use it on my new starts that are ate up with weeds. at the .75 oz per 1k rate i've had good results even in the cooler weather (although it just took longer). I hate 3 way, I switched to it recently and it just isn't the same. I'd also like to find something that works better than 3-way without the high cost like speedzone.. but, I guess you get what you pay for.

.

IMHO 3 Way is already hot enough. It works pretty darn quick and I see response in less than 3 days. BTW I am using it on St Augustine at 1/3 the Label rate.

Rather than look for something Hotter, I suggest trying to understand lawn care. Customers might think their yard should look like Disneyland but they don't pay Disneyland landscape Prices.

One problem might be a possible resistance building in the weeds due to the repeated use of the same product.

If you guys are out of the safe zone for using an ester, the you might want to switch to a different Amine product and see what results you get.

We've used "Surge" in the past with great results. Like Speedzone, it's a bit pricy but if you've got some problem lawns you need to get back in line, then it's worth it.

Also, there is a Low Odor 3-way (verdict is still out on the odor). We used it last fall and it did awesome. My supplier stated that they were getting better results with the low odor 3-way than the standard. He wasn't sure why, but it was noticeable.

I find that Image does wonders at suppressing poa annua at a fraction of the cost of Revolver. You just need to put down alot of water with it. A lower concentration of Image with high volume does better than a high concentration with low volume.

I couldnt see where you were from on my iphone.

It pains me to have to agree with Dick I mean Ric, but three way is hot enough for you guys down south, up here in the north when its cold you almost have to go down with ester formulations, amine isnt quick enough when its in the 40's on our winter annuals
