On my second Lifeproof, don't like having an adapter for ear buds, I get a rainbow effect every now and the case is only rated to be opened up so many times. Next will go with Otterbox Armoror http://www.otterbox.com/armor-series...efault,pg.html .

I had an otter box on my blackberry, also have one on my new droid. Phones been dropped off roofs doing Christmas lights. Used in rain. Always in dusty conditions. Hell one time I WASHED a phone because it got covered in liquid fertilizer lol.

Otterbox Defender (it's to my understanding Otterbox will replace the phone if damaged) the belt clips wears fast if you enjoy wearing the phone horizontal
OR
What I have now. Ballistic. Only thing extra you get is a decal. But I've had no issues now for bout a year

Had several Otter Box's, iPhone & BB. Now have Lifproof on my iPhone, no plans to go back to OB Defender. Lifeproof is much better for this type of work.

Also, I bought the Lifeproof Lifejacket, works great when I'm fishing.
