Is this a fungus? or something else?

I live in Augusta, Ga. We've had a lot of rain the last week or so (actually the last couple of months). My Bermuda grass was looking pretty good. It was green, but starting lose its luster (about time to fertilize again), but no brown/bald spots except in areas where there were always bad spots.

Here's my lawn as a whole...

With that said, I noticed 2 days ago that my lawn has a large brown spot, that I'm pretty sure was thick and green before the most recent rain.

I've also noticed that there are lots of little small brown spots in my lawn, which definitely wasn't there before - no doubt about that. My apologies about the picture quality - taken with my phone.

Any ideas about what this could be? Would it hurt to just preemptively put an anti-fungal chemical on it?

Thanks in advance.

I'm north of Atlanta and have been seeing brown patch/large patch alot around here lately because of the weather. Go ahead and put a fungicide on it just in case
