Best tip I can give you is to get Shindaiwa speed feed heads, These things are such a time saver and eliminate so much agrivation when it comes to restringing your weed eater.

Yeah and carry 20' or so in your pocket and you'll never have to go back to get string.

always keep a couple extra cans of Copenhagen in the truck at all times. just in case you run out.

Use Frogg Toggs around your neck for summer heat. Used them in Iraq in 130 degree heat and they are still cool to the touch.

With the broom idea i got one with a metal edge on the back perfect for aerating when you run over the turds and flatten them out on the driveway or sidewalk. also works well with stuck grass or weeds.
